“American automaker, famous for creating one of the world's first production plug-in hybrid electric cars that is capable of running for a full 5 minutes on a single charge.”
— Description at LCN.com.
Hijak is an American high-end vehicle brand in the HD Universe of the Grand Theft Auto series.
Overview[]
Hijak is based on the automobile company Fisker, and Vūhl. The player can buy stocks from the company on the Lcn-exchange.com in Grand Theft Auto V, with the Khamelion and Ruston being exclusively available in Grand Theft Auto Online.
The pronunciation of the brand is "hijack", which is a term for taking control of something, or stealing something. This is likely a reference to Fisker's turbulent relation with Tesla Motors, another major manufacturer of hybrid sports cars (represented in-game by Coil), which accused and sued the company of stealing their technology.
