The Hazardous Jerry Can is a special item and a weapon in Grand Theft Auto Online, added as part of The Diamond Casino Heist update.

The Hazardous Jerry Can is a variation of the Jerry Can that is painted in an orange/yellowish color (in contrast with the Jerry Can's red color). The markings from the Jerry Can are still retained in this version, although the red warning stickers were replaced by yellow warning stickers, with one reading "Chemicals Fire Hazard".

The Hazardous Jerry Can behaves similarly to its fuel counterpart, but some of the key differences can be seen between the two: When used, it pours a brownish chemical liquid instead of a black fuel liquid, which does not ignite upon firing a weapon at the same. The canister itself never explodes when being shot either, making the weapon completely harmless to anyone (despite its name).

- The Hazardous Jerry Can is not available anywhere, and is only given to the player during the preparation mission "Maintenance Gear Part 2" to pour the chemical onto the broken air unit of the casino. It disappears when the preparation is completed.
- Initially, players could be able to keep the item in their inventory once the preparation mission ended, and could be kept for the rest of the session. This was, however, patched in the Los Santos Summer Special update.
- Players who obtained a Hazardous Jerry Can prior to this update will still have one in their inventory.
- This was patched once again with the Los Santos Tuners update to remove the weapon outside of the mission entirely. It is now impossible to obtain and keep outside of the mission.
