The Gypsies are a cut organization scheduled to appear in Grand Theft Auto Advance.[1]

Description[]

The Gypsies were originally intended to be a wandering group of Romani people led by a man named Julius, found in unspecified hidden areas of Portland, Liberty City.

Ned "The Kid" Braden randomly meets this group while staying in Portland. During their first job, Julius tasks the Kid to steal an industrial van of any kind to be used as their personal vehicle.[2] During the second job, the Kid is hired to locate missing members of Julius' group and lead them back to their current hideout.[3]

After retrieving the missing members, Julius informs the Kid about a shipment of weapons arriving at the docks in Portland about to be unloaded by the Italian Mafia. The Kid steals these weapons to fortify the Gypsies' defenses.[4] However, some members of the organization started a splinter group and became associated with the Italian Mafia, giving them the current location of the gang. As a last favor for the Gypsies, the Kid is told to use the previously stolen van to help them escape the city while avoiding the pursuing enemy Gypsies.[5]
