The Bravado Greenwood is a four-door sedan appearing in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of The Criminal Enterprises update.
The vehicle returns from the 3D Universe where it assumed the design of a mid-size sedan.
Influence[]
The Greenwood is modeled after the 1977–1978 Dodge Monaco and its "corporate twin," the Plymouth Fury. The design elements of the grille, turn signals, and the positioning of Bravado badge appear to be influenced by the 1975–1976 Fury, but with the split design maintained. The rear design draws from the 1972 Fury models, incorporating a trunk design reminiscent of the 1972 Monaco. Additionally, the rear bumper and tail lights are inspired by those found on the 1971 Chrysler New Yorker, whereas the front bumper seems to be sourced from the 1977 Chevrolet Monte Carlo.
Liveries[]
- The "White Rear Stripe" livery is based on the "Bumble Bee" stripe seen on some Dodge models, such as the 1969 Super Bee and the 1970 Charger R/T.
- The "Classic Side Stripe" livery is inspired by the decal on the 1977 Dodge Monaco Pro Touring, a scale model car that was modified from MPC's Monaco kit by Sean Svendsen.
- The "Bravado" livery is seemingly based on sport-styled decal for the 1978 Dodge Monaco Sport scale model, issued by MPC in 1977.
- The "Invincible" livery is loosely based on the skull decal on the matte black 1970 Chevrolet Nova in the 2007 slasher movie Death Proof.
- The livery name could be a reference to the aforementioned movie title, as the word "deathproof" refers to the state that is impossible to die or be killed, similar to the word "invincible".
- A similar livery named "Sure It's Safe?" can be found on the previously released Vamos, which is a nod to the aforementioned movie car.
- The "Corkers" livery has a stripes and layout design similar to the decal found on the 1969 Dodge Charger R/T "Hawaiian" scale model by Auto World, which is based on the 1971 Charger Funny Car with the same nickname, driven by Roland Leong.
- The "Limited Gasoline" livery resembles the one found on the 1976 Dodge Charger #43 NASCAR race car, driven by Richard Petty.
- The "Hayes" livery is loosely based on the 1970 Dodge Challenger #77 Trans Am race car, driven by Sam Posey.
Design[]
The vehicle retains the traditional boxy design from previous renditions, where the front area features a silver/chrome bumper with a narrow mesh vent in the center and black trim above with yellowish/brownish borders. The upper area is predominated by a split grille with numerous dividers and rectangular turn signals on the outer edges, as well as square headlights beside the grille, where the upper ones are the main units and the lower ones the high-beam units. The hood area bears silver "BRAVADO" lettering on the driver side and a protruding detail passing through the hood lid, towards the windshield, along with a radio antenna on the passenger side.
The sides of the car have silver/chrome trim at the bottom and additional black trim above the wheel arches that pass through the sides, as well as traditional door handles and square mirrors on the front doors. The cabin is relatively simple and bears silver/chrome trim around the windows, while the trunk lid bears a similar protruding detail in the center.
On the rear, the trunk lid bears the silver "BRAVADO" lettering on the passenger side and black trim at the bottom, while the bumper area bears wide tail lights with a meshed detail in front, each one consisting of dual main units, middle brake units and outer reverse units. The rest of the bumper has protruding edges and a dedicated section in the center for the license plate, while the exhaust can be seen below, on the passenger side.
The interior with wooden dashboard is similar to the Emperor and the Vigero, itself being a derivative of the "Dominator" interior used in the Buccaneer and the Manana, with the dial set also derived from the aforementioned cars. It uses unique black rims with circular holes around and silver/chrome centercaps, fitted with medium-profile tires with a whitewall detail.
The primary color is applied to most of the bodywork, while the secondary color is applied to the interior stitching. A customized trim color was allowed on initial release, although it could not alter the interior's appearance. This option was later disabled in Los Santos Drug Wars update. Some customization options that originally changed color based on the trim color had also been adjusted, with the "Trim Color Vinyl Roof" option changed to be based the primary color (the name remains unchanged), and the padding on the "Full Cage" option changed to be based on the secondary color.
Performance[]
Vehicle[]
The Greenwood is powered by a V8 engine with a circular air filter on top, mated to a 3-speed gearbox and powering the rear wheels. It shares the engine sound with cars such as the Tulip, the Gauntlet Classic and the Imperator.
The Greenwood features improved performance over its 3D Universe counterpart, having good speed and acceleration. In addition, it possesses smooth handling and is quite durable against collisions. It even performs wheelies without its back-end hitting the ground too much, helping its acceleration further for faster take-off.
Features[]
The Greenwood, along with the Omnis e-GT and selected vehicles from The Contract update, can be modified with a Remote Control Unit, which allows for the ability to drive the vehicle remotely, similar to the RC Bandito and the Invade and Persuade Tank. Note that this feature cannot be kept if the Missile Lock-on Jammer is installed, and that the camera is always set to first-person view.
Armor/Defense[]
When the Armor Plating upgrade is equipped, the vehicle is given traditional armor plating on the sides in a similar manner to the armor padding of the Omnis e-GT, selected vehicles of The Contract update and the armored vehicles featured in the Executives and Other Criminals update. However, it gives a higher resistance to explosives in general. Unlike the vehicles from The Contract update, it lacks bulletproof windows, but it does not appear with a unique radar blip (features also present on the Omnis e-GT).
The Greenwood, along with the Omnis e-GT and selected vehicles from The Contract update, can be modified with a Missile Lock-on Jammer, which prevents the lock-on system of the Homing Launcher and other weaponized vehicles to target onto it. Note that it cannot be kept if the Remote Control Unit is installed.
Weapons[]
The vehicle has the option to install Slick Proximity Mines (green flashing light), which burst a large amount of oil on the surface, causing vehicles passing over it to lose control. This deals no damage to either vehicles or players.

Oversights[]
- If the "Side Trim Delete" option is selected when the car has Armor Plating installed, the vehicle's entire body trim as well as its grille become invisible.
- The rear trim does not change with some custom trim and the Armor Plating options, making the vehicle's entire body trim inconsistent.
- There are several UV mapping issues on the vehicle:
- The applied liveries can be seen distorted on the rear passenger-side fender.[1]
- The texture of the "Corkers" livery is incorrectly mapped on the "Painted Trim" option's door trim and front door handles. This issue can be seen on the promotional image for the GTA+ event in June 2024.
Radio Stations[]
- In Grand Theft Auto Online, the default radio stations are grouped by genre. The Greenwood (HD Universe) uses the "Funk" group which can play:
