Giggle Cream is a dessert topping mentioned in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto IV. The topping is a mixture of whipped cream and nitrous oxide (commonly known as "laughing gas", hence the name).
The product is advertised on the radio in GTA: Vice City with the tagline "Makes dessert funny". Apparently, Florida Congressman Alex Shrub legalized Giggle Cream, resulting in the deaths of 23 people, though he claimed that "some of them probably deserved it". It was later banned by the FDA.
In GTA IV, Giggle Cream can be seen being sold illegally on yourmexicandoctor.com where the deaths in the 1980s are mentioned.
- It seems to be a parody of Reddi-wip, a canned whipped topping that also utilizes nitrous oxide.
- Giggle Cream is mentioned on VCPD radio chatter. An officer (possibly Jones) states that a suspect with Giggle Cream was causing trouble, and that he gave him a little beating.
- Pepe, the DJ of Radio Espantoso in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, mentions having tried the dessert after a commercial break.
- The beginning and end of the radio advertisement appears to parody the chorus of No Limit by 2 Unlimited, which was released in 1993.
