This page lists all the gangs around Liberty City in Grand Theft Auto Advance.

Major Gangs[]

Yardies[]

The Uptown Yardies, simply referred to as the Yardies, are an African-Caribbean (mostly Jamaican) criminal organization led by King Courtney. They appear as one of the two main antagonistic group in the storyline.

The gang can be found in the neighborhoods of Saint Mark's (presumably collecting protection money from businesses), Newport and Cedar Grove. They are one of the many gangs who will hunt for Mike in Cedar Grove after he arrives in Shoreside Vale. They can be identified by their colors (red shirts and blue pants) and can found driving Yardies.

Hoods[]

The Southside Hoods, simply referred to as the Hoods, are an African-American street gang. They appear as one of the two main antagonistic group in the storyline. One of their sets, the Trenton Hoods, appear as enemies during the first strand of missions in Portland.

The gang can be found in the neighborhoods of Trenton, Belleville Park and Wichita Gardens. They can be identified by their colors (pink hooded shirts and blue pants) and can found driving Hoods.

Cartel[]

The Colombian Cartel, or simply the Cartel, is a Colombian drug cartel led by Cisco. They appear as one of allies for Mike, until their boss' death. After assuming that Mike is the one who killed their boss, they become his enemies.

The gang can be found in the neighborhoods of Atlantic Quays, Callahan Point, Aspatria, Pike Creek and Francis International Airport. They can be identified by their colors (red shirts and green pants) and can found driving Esperantos.

Yakuza[]

The Yakuza is a Japanese criminal organization based in Staunton Island, led by Asuka Kasen. They appear as the main allies for Mike after he began working for Asuka, and later helping him during the story's climax.

The gang can be found in the neighborhoods of Hepburn Heights (due to Asuka's pimping business and advertising the soon to be opened Kenji's Casino), Bedford Point and Wichita Gardens. They can be identified by their colors (dark blue shirts and pants) and can found driving Yakuzas.

Mafia[]

The Leone Crime Family (ambiguously referred to as the Mafia) is a major Italian mafia led by Don Salvatore Leone, that has been a force in Liberty City longer than any other gang. They appear as the main unseen bosses during the first strand of missions in Portland, as all of Vinnie's missions given to Mike at Momma's Restaurante are favors for his associates from the Mafia. They are known to use the Portland Harbor to offload drugs and smuggle guns.

The gang can be found in the neighborhoods of Saint Mark's (mislabelled as Portland Beach in-game), Portland Harbor and Torrington. They are one of the many gangs who will hunt for Mike in Pike Creek and Cedar Grove after he arrives in Shoreside Vale. They can be identified by their green clothes and found driving Sentinels.

Minor Gangs[]

Triads[]

The Triads are a Chinese criminal organization operating in Portland. They play no major role in the storyline.

The gang can be found in the neighborhoods of Chinatown, Red Light District, Rockford, Fort Staunton and Wichita Gardens. They can be identified by their white clothing and can found driving Wongs.

Diablos[]

The Diablos are a Latin American gang[1] led by a former porn actor known as El Burro. They play no major role in the storyline.

The gang can be found in the neighborhoods of Harwood, Liberty Campus and Cochrane Dam. They can be identified by their long red hair and clothing (yellow jumpshirts) and can found driving Diablos.
