Gang War A Go-Go! (or Start a Gang War! in the PlayStation version) is a mission in Grand Theft Auto 2 available during Area 1: Downtown, given to the protagonist Claude Speed by the Loony boss Elmo. The mission is available from the red phone in the neighborhood of Sunnyside in Downtown District, after the completion of Taxi Drivers Must Die!
Maximum Respect for the Loonies is required in order to unlock this mission, indicated by the red light icon below the gang's respect-o-meter on the HUD.
Description[]
Elmo is bored so he asks Claude to kill the Yakuza and Zaibatsu's top three men, in an effort to start a gang war.
Reward[]
The reward for completing the mission is $60,000, +1 Score Multiplier, and increased Loonies Respect level.

Answering the phone, Claude Speed is told by Elmo that he wants to provoke a gang war between the Zaibatsu and the Yakuza, so he asks him to steal a Zaibatsu Z-Type and use it to kill Johnny Zoo's top lieutenants.
Elmo asks Claude to steal a Yakuza Miara and use it to kill Trey Welsh's top lieutenants.
When Claude arrives at Zaibatsu turf, Elmo tells him to find and kill Trey Welsh's three lieutenants.
