Policy

Fan-fiction refers to any user-generated content that presents fictional narratives, characters, events, or modifications to existing content within the GTA universe.

The GTA Wiki is intended to be comprehensive and reliable source of information for the Grand Theft Auto series, aiming to provide factual and canonical details about the games. To maintain the integrity and accuracy of content on the wiki, fan-fiction is not permitted in articles and is strictly limited to User Sandboxes.

Prohibited fan-fiction content

Fan-fiction content includes, but is not limited to:

1. Fan-created fictional in-game content: Physical content, such as vehicles, weapons, characters and locations.
2. Conceptual narratives: Events, such as missions, plot or storyline details.
3. Fan-related spins: Theories, alternate endings, background stories or prologues not found in-game or supported by official sources.

Permissible fan-fiction content

Fan-fiction is only permitted in User Sandboxes. Create or edit your own sandbox here.

Advisory

• User Sandboxes including fan-fiction should include a {{User Sandbox}} and/or {{Unofficial}} banner at the top of the page to notify readers that the content is not officially produced nor endorsed by Rockstar Games.
• Avoid Speculation within articles that may lead to, or come across as, potentially fan-fiction content.
• The GTA Fanon Wiki is home to all things GTA fiction and permits the creation of fan-fiction articles.
