Agents of Sabotage is a content update for Grand Theft Auto Online, released on 10 December 2024.
Description[]
The update was first mentioned on 1 November 2024 and officially announced on 3 December 2024. It is headlined by brand new robbery missions led by Pavel and former FIB operative turned rogue agent Jodi Marshall. Rockstar has also confirmed in the initial Newswire post about the update that content previously exclusive to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of GTA Online will be made available on PC platforms sometime in 2025.

A small improvised dirt airstrip with no structures or signage, due to appear on the cliffs of Tongva Hills as part of the upcoming Oscar Guzman Flies Again mission strand in 2025.

The FIB Files[]
4 new Robbery Contract-style clandestine robbery missions were added, with Jodi Marshall as a mission boss. They can be started from the Darnell Bros. base of operations or from the Darnell Inc. IFruit app. Each mission has 3 setup missions and a finale.
New Dispatch Work Missions[]
Two new Dispatch Work missions from Vincent Effenburger are made available for players who have completed Slush Fund (as a leader) for The Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid:

Darnell Bros. Garment Factory[]
Previously condemned after being set alight and abandoned by Lester Crest, the Darnell Bros Garment Factory is reopened to serve as a base of operations for The FIB Files. Inside the property is a base of operations computer for starting FIB File missions, a MKII Weapons Workshop, a garage space for the Benefactor Terrorbyte, a basement garage with 10 vehicle slots, and access to several fast travel locations using the underground tunnels of Los Santos.

A total of 18 vehicles have been added, as well as returning vehicles and new customization options for existing vehicles:
- Six vehicles (both new and existing) were made available for purchase at launch, including five new vehicles and one existing vehicle.
- Three "drift" variants of vehicles are due to be released as part of event weeks. These variants are simple performance modifications and are classified as separate vehicles in the game files. The vehicles that will receive drift variants are:
- One new mission-only vehicle was added, a variant of the Freight Train well car.

Alongside new vehicles, an existing vehicle was made available for purchase at launch, with another later made available as part of an event week:
- Police Predator - Made available for purchase on Warstock Cache & Carry, and available for free to all participating players for a limited time from December 10 to 15, 2024, after The Heist Challenge reached its $20 trillion target.
- Brute Taco Van - Made available for purchase on Warstock Cache & Carry on December 19, 2024, as part of the Festive Surprise 2024 event week.
Weapons[]
One new weapon, the El Strickler Military Rifle, was added. First revealed by several GTA fan news outlets on 6th December 2024, the El Strickler Military Rifle is a customized and modified variant of the Military Rifle supposedly approved by firearms expert Juan Strickler. It features an extended clip, scope, blue-tinted flashlight, blue tracer rounds, and a blue & gold engraved exterior.
Players who have purchased GTA+ were be able to acquire the El Strickler from the Gun Van early in the update's launch. The weapon has been made available on January 9th to Expanded and Enhanced edition players only via the Gun Van at a price of $590,750 ($695,000 without the 10% Gun Van discount.)

- Body Armor now fully restock upon launching missions and Heists.
- The Vinewood Car Club received multiple updates, including allowing players to access Hao's Special Works, Benny's Original Motor Works, and drift upgrades from the Los Santos Car Meet from the club's vehicle workshop.
Vehicles[]
- Four upgrades for the Benefactor Terrorbyte exclusive to the Darnell Bros. property were added.
- Collectible Scanner - Used to pinpoint the many collectibles available in GTA Online.
- Missile Lock-on Jammer - Prevents other players from locking onto the vehicle with homing missiles.
- Silent Running - Hides the vehicle and player map blip while the player is inside and/or driving the Terrorbyte.
- While the player has this upgrade, they cannot access their drive-by weapons in the cab while stationary.
- Master Control Terminal - Similar to the one in the Arcades, but this time the player can manage their businesses anywhere on the map.
Relisted vehicles[]
Several vehicles previously delisted from vehicle websites with the San Andreas Mercenaries update were relisted. All of these vehicles returned with the ability to apply Missile Lock-On Jammers within the Agency Vehicle Workshop.

Several law enforcement vehicles from previous updates were also given the ability to apply Missile Lock-On Jammers within the Agency Vehicle Workshop.

Unlisted changes[]
- Players are no longer visible on the radar when customizing a vehicle.
- The Dinka Postlude and Kanjo SJ are now properly listed as Tuner vehicles and can now be used in Robbery Contracts/Street Races if the player owns them as Personal Vehicles.
- Nano drones will now automatically lift up if lowered too far onto the ground.
- The Pfister Growler and Lampadati Tropos Rallye received new liveries, previously added with the Bottom Dollar Bounties update.
- The Benefactor Terrorbyte received a new livery, Federal Investigation Bureau; exclusive to Expanded and Enhanced edition players. Awarded to players who complete the Tier 2 Career Progress challenge for Agents of Sabotage.
- The Maibatsu Penumbra FF received a new livery, Lunar New Year; most likely a login unlock during the week of the Chinese New Year.
- The "La'oub Princess" markings painted on the sides of the La'oub Princess cargo ship have been covered over.
- Some characters in the player's businesses, such as Rooster McCraw and Lupe, now talk again when they are approached or walked away from.

- The track featured in the announcement trailer is "Salt" (unknown composer), featured as part of the official score introduced in this update.
- Both the Area 69 and Bone County are first mentioned to exist in the HD Universe in the mission brief for The Brute Force File.
- The ancient statues used as targets to be stolen in The Fine Art File finale are modeled after the Hidden Package from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and the Aztec statue stolen during Derailed from Grand Theft Auto V, and both are featured on the official promotional artwork.
- The original hidden package pickup sound effect from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is used when the GTA Online Protagonist collects the tiki statue.[1]
