On November 6, 2025, Rockstar Games first teased the update in Newswire posts for the Cayo Perico Week and GTA+ November 2025 events, hinting at a "new era of Los Santos real estate" with a teaser image of a "coming soon" Prix Luxury sign. The following week, on November 13, construction props appeared at the Ace Jones Drive Overlook and Marlowe Drive Overlook in Vinewood Hills, as part of New Listings Week, marking future purchasable Prix Luxury mansion properties and coinciding with the release of the three-part New Listings mission strand, which rewards players with an exclusive GTA$2,000,000 discount toward any Prix Luxury property once they become available in the upcoming update. Subsequent Newswire posts since New Listings Week have provided images offering glimpses of the forthcoming mansion properties built on the aforementioned overlooks.
On November 20, 2025, a teaser trailer for the update was released, revealing its official name, four new vehicles, and a full view of the finished mansion erected on the Ace Jones Drive Overlook.
A GTA Online loading screen message for the GTA$1,000,000 reward for completing all three New Listings missions first revealed the update's initial scheduled release date of December 9, 2025, before it was revised to simply December.[1]
