The dead drop is a classic drug-dealing maneuver. In theory, a suspicious package left out in the open will attract less attention than peddlers meeting up to exchange illegal contraband.

G's Cache is a daily collectible in Grand Theft Auto Online, added as part of the continuation of the Los Santos Drug Wars update released during Eclipse Blvd Garage Week on February 16, 2023.

has been stashed nearby. Find and collect them each day to receive a reward.A cache will spawn daily in a random location for each player. The icon will appear on the map as soon as the player enters a Free Mode session. Each player will have their own location which changes if the player changes session; the location also changes periodically on its own.
Once the player arrives at the location within 70 meters of the marker, a search zone will be marked with a white circle. The player will need to search the area to find the package. Once close by, the player will hear the sound of beeping, just like with Hidden Caches. Also approaching them will cause the player's controller to vibrate if playing with one, with the vibrations growing more intense as they get closer to the package. Other players in the free mode session will not be able to see the package. Pick up the package to get the ammo, snacks, RP and random amounts of cash between $15,000 and $22,250.
As Gerald warned in his initial message, there is a chance that law enforcement were watching the dead drop location although they will not be visible before the package is collected. If so, the player will receive a two-star Wanted Level.
The Millar's Fishery Co cache location presents a possible extra hazard as it may also randomly be the site of a gang attack. The attack needs to be dealt with (either by completing or by triggering and then escaping to a safe distance, cancelling the attack) in order to safely retrieve the cache. Millar's Fishery is the also the only G's Cache location that is also a spawn point for a stash house, possibly allowing both to be completed in the same spot.

Oversights[]
- Occasionally, after collecting the cache, the player will be unable to move their character for a few moments (5–10 seconds) before control is returned. This creates a minor issue if the player is trying to escape a wanted level (or an attacking player). Confirmed on PS4.
Changes[]
- A couple of package locations have been adjusted since G's Caches were added. At the Palmer-Taylor Power Station, the drop next to the entrance booth was initially inside; it was later moved to outside the booth. Moreover, at Millar's Fishery Co, the package on the jetty initially spawned in the water nearby, which made it challenging to find at high tide; it was later moved to the deck.
