File:Fruit Computers Logo.png

Fruit Computers is a computer manufacturer company in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories and Grand Theft Auto IV. The company is a take on Acorn, Apple and Apricot. The logo sort of looks like male genitals if their logo is rotated 270 degrees and flipped sideways.

In GTA LCS, there is FruitOS user group "Fruits" (a slang word for 'gay people') that has a holy-war with TOS use group. This is a reference to real-life Windows/Linux holy-wars.

In GTA VCS, there is a computer Fruit LC, a parody of Apple III computer, however the name is inspired by the Apple Macintosh LC computer.

In GTA IV, there is a Fruit Cocoon (parody of Mac Mini) and iFruit (parody of iPhone) on fruitcomputers.com website. In real life, this site will redirect you to Rockstar Games website. Also note that the interface of GTA IV browser has some references to Safari. There is a Fruit Computers building in Port Tudor, Alderney, however the building seems to be abandoned, as the logo is faded and similar to the previous multi-coloured Apple logo. Fruit computers can also be seen advertised in various computer shops throughout the game.
