Frighteners is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories given to protagonist Toni Cipriani by Leone Family Don Salvatore Leone from his home in the Saint Mark's district of Portland Island, Liberty City.
Mission
Toni drops by Salvatore's looking for more work. Salvatore tells him to scare some of the union boss into allowing him to use the docks. Toni gets into a vehicle and chases down one of the union big shots. Toni smashes into the car and eventually forces him to exit his car. Toni gets out of his vehicle and beats up the union boss.
Toni chases the second union boss and again forces him out of his car, beating him up while avoiding the union boss' pistol. Toni then chases the third union boss and again, beats him up. After all three union bosses have changed their minds, the mission is over.
Script
Salvatore Leone: Toni! How are you my boy? You look a little thin. Isn't your momma feeding you right?
Toni Cipriani: I'm good Mr. Leone.
Salvatore Leone: Listen, these union guys - they're getting me pissed. It looks like some of them are starting to see things my way... but we just need to turn up the heat on some of the 'less than receptive' union big shots. You know what I'm talking about?
(Toni chases down a union big shot and crashes into him)
Union Big Shot #1: What are you doing? Are you crazy?
(Toni deals with the first big shot, then chases and crashes into a second)
Union Big Shot #2: I only had two more payments for that car! You son of a bitch!
Toni Cipriani: From now on you do as you're told!
Reward
The reward for completing the mission is $1,000. The mission Rollercoaster Ride is unlocked. The Avenging Angel's Fatigue Outfit is also unlocked, as well as the Avenging Angels side mission.
Trivia
- The player can kill one of the union bosses, but killing more than one will cause the player to fail the mission.
