The Train is a freight train in Grand Theft Auto V, the train is avaible for the player to drive in the mission Derailed but is unobtainable in free roam.
Description
The trains locomotive resembles an EMD SD50, a popular deisel freight locomotive in the United States. The train can be seen pulling a variety of rolling stock which consists of boxcar's, flatbeds and tankers wagons. Unlike Grand Theft Auto IV, the player and jump and stand on the train whilsts it's moving, this makes for a great way to loose a wanted level as you can usually loose the cops when the train enters a tunnel. Like every game before it, the train is completley indestrucable apart from in a mission where two trains collide. Unlike the Tram, the driver will not attempt to stop if the track is obstructed since stopping a train is a long process. The train is usually unobtrainable, however, it can be driven for a short while in Trevor Philip's mission Derailed.
