The Dinka Vindicator is a touring motorcycle featured in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2 update.
Design[]
Grand Theft Auto V and Online[]
The Vindicator is based on the Honda NM4, with the rear's briefly having the features as a Honda Range Adventure.
The Vindicator has a distinctively large body, where the front section has a small mudguard attached to the black forks. The upper area is predominated by a large triangle-shaped fairing, where the central area has a single central headlamp, blue strips on either side of the unit and a long glass visor with a "DINKA" marking on the front end, while the sides have lower blades/fins with "DINKA" markings on either side and triangular extensions holding the rear-view mirrors. The black upper plate has dual curved supports holding the handlebars, and the panel in front of it has a digital display in place of analog dials. In the enhanced version, it uses the same "Truck Digital" set commonly seen in industrial vehicles like the second generation Burrito, the Utility Truck and the Insurgent.
The main body of the bike is relatively long and features a gray fairing covering most of the engine bay and chassis, with an open section in the front that exposes the radiator. The front area is occupied by a large fuel tank with a triangular black section, the manufacturer badges and the corresponding circular cap, while the rear area is occupied by a dark gray seat with a curved appearance. The engine bay area has two foot pads on the front and chrome transmission covers on either side, bearing the manufacturer markings on the circular sections. There are also small foot pegs below the main seat, intended for the passenger.
The rear section has a black C-shaped seat and a rear-facing brake tail lamp on top, "DN4 VINDICATOR" markings on the sides and a pronged end with a plate holder below, housing the turn signals, main lamp and license plate. The rear wheel is connected to the vehicle by a black dual-sided swing-arm, with the chain drive on the left and a chrome exhaust tube on the right.
The bike is painted with a primary colour on the fairing, part of the fuel tank, the rear section and the circular surrounding of the transmission covers, as well as a secondary colour on the front mudguard and lower blades/fins of the sides. It uses a set of split six-spoke rims similar to the "Speedway" rims seen in Los Santos Customs and are fitted with medium-profile tyres, with the rear one being wider.

Performance[]
Grand Theft Auto V and Online[]
The Vindicator is generally comparable to the Thrust in terms of handling and feel. Acceleration is lacking for a motorcycle, and its top speed is acceptable. Handling, especially for a motorcycle, is very poor; the motorcycle has a major issue with understeer due to its long wheelbase, and often won't be able to go around a corner without some form of braking.
According to what was claimed by the website, the Vindicator is powered by a 670cc V-Twin engine that produces 29hp (roughly half of the Honda NM4). The engine model, however, is very undetailed, as with the use of the Rockstar Editor, it reveals a block-shaped engine with what looks like outlets on the front and sides of it, while the rear is partially covered by components like the exhaust and the chain drive. Its engine sound appears to be a higher-pitched variation of the one used in motorcycles such as the Akuma, the Double T and the Lectro.
Similar to the Lectro, the Vindicator has a KERS boost ability, which means the excess energy lost by braking can be re-gained via the usage of the horn button. Compared to the Lectro, the Vindicator is better suited for KERS because its poor handling means that the motorcycle brakes in more corners than similar bikes, therefore generating more KERS boost opportunities.

Trivia[]
General[]
- The description of the Vindicator is a reference to the 1988 Japanese animation Akira, in which the protagonist Kaneda rides an iconic retro futuristic bike. Said bike was stated to be one of the major design influences of the Honda NM4. However, this bike was soon ultimately succeeded by the Shotaro, another bike that strongly resembles Kaneda's futuristic bike in the enhanced version from the GTA Online: Bikers update.
Grand Theft Auto V and Online[]
- The KERS feature does not work in Grand Theft Auto V, similar to how the KERS feature does not work on the Lectro if it is modded into story mode. The KERS feature was originally unavailable for use during Races in GTA Online.
- As of the Cunning Stunts update, the Lectro and Vindicator can now use their KERS boost in races (if enabled in the Creator).
- In addition, the Vindicator does not have a horn like the Lectro. However, the game still recognizes the input as a horn, and pressing the horn button multiple times near a crowded area will make NPCs react to it, often resulting in being provoked or, in the case of drivers, run away.
- For some reason, the rear wheel has two drive sprockets on either side, but only the left one is connected to the engine. Either it is a developer oversight or that the right sprocket was meant to be connected to a motor device providing the KERS functionality (in a similar manner to the Lectro having two chain drives for the engine and the KERS motor device).
- On a closer inspection, the chain drive is slightly offset to the left of where the sprocket is located.
- The Legendary Motorsport image depicts the bike with secondary-coloured front fork legs, despite the current model having no option to replace the black fork legs with painted ones.
