Rescue Operation is a security contract featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of The Contract update. It is a Free Mode mission that can be conducted in any session type by CEOs, VIPs and MC Club presidents.
Description[]
Franklin calls the player, telling them that a client needs rescuing from a hostile situation and the F. Clinton and Partner Agency has been enlisted to help.
The player is tasked with going to a location, searching for the client, eliminating the enemy gang and rescuing the client.
As they approach, a designated search location will be set on the Radar and a Flare will be set off. The client's vehicle will be laying open and surrounded by the vehicles used by the enemy gang, to which they have to find them somewhere else (located on three different locations within the search area).
The player may find the client with two bodyguards nearby and taking cover from several enemies, to which the player must clear the area before extracting the client. Similar to enemies wearing Ballistic Equipment, they won't fall or be knocked back by gunshots, although they can be still killed. Once the area is secured, the bodyguards will run off, and a health meter will then be shown on the Heads-Up Display in the lower right corner to indicate the client's health.
From there, the player needs to prevent the client from being killed and must travel to the safehouse in Vinewood, in the alleyways behind Vinewood Plaza. 3-4 waves of enemy chasers will pursue the player with two vehicles at a time, each containing two gang members and will only focus on the client rather than the player. If an aircraft is used for the extraction, the enemy gang will use helicopters.
Scenarios[]
The scenario can vary. The location of the search area and crashed vehicle will be the same but the standoff between the bodyguards and attackers will be at randomized spots within the zone.
Importer[]
The importer is under attack at Terminal with his abandoned crashed white Schafter, surrounded by a Fugitive and a Granger from the Professionals. They will be found at the eastern side of the rail yard, the western side of the aforementioned area, or the pedestrian overbridge. Enemy pursuers will use Fugitives on ground or Buzzards on air.

Trendy Millionaire[]
Anyway, man, apparently some rich dude's-asshole chopper just gone down over the forest. He's one of those young-ass trendy millionaires who do a lot of skydiving and shit, to try to forget everyone who hated on 'em in high school.
He sent out an SOS signal near Raton Canyon, so head out that way, find him, man, pick his ass up and bring him home. But be careful though, this dude flies around in that bird all the time... so somebody might'a shot his ass down.
The Millionaire is under attack near Raton Canyon with his crashed Maverick, surrounded by a Rusty Rebel and a Technical Custom from the Altruists. They will be found near the river, near the dead-end dirt road, or east of the crash site. Enemy pursuers will use Rusty Rebels and Technical Customs on the ground, or Mavericks in the air.
