The Annis Savestra is a 2-door sports car featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of The Doomsday Heist update, released on January 2nd, 2018, during the Savestra Week event.
Influence[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
The Savestra is a compact 2-door coupe heavily based on the Series II–III Mazda Savanna/RX3 with influences from other mid-1970s Japanese coupes, including the Nissan Skyline GT-R C110, as seen in the front grille of the car, the 1972–1974 Mitsubishi Galant GTO GS-R in the rear fascia, trunk, lower grille, and front indicators, and the 1970–1974 Toyota Corolla Coupe (Levin & Trueno), on which the side profile and C-pillar are modeled. The tail lights are based on the 1973 Toyota Celica Liftback 2000 GT.
Design[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
On the front end, the car features a thin bumper with a small intake and two rectangular indicators below, while the upper area has a plastic panel with the rectangular grille and dual circular headlamps, with the inner ones being high-beam units. The bonnet lid hinges from the front and opens to reveal the engine bay, while two vents can be seen near the windscreen.
The sides of the car are fitted with bolt-on extended arches and rectangular door handles, while two mirror shells are mounted on top of the front fenders. A small boot lid is also seen, bearing silver markings on the rear end.
On the rear end, a plastic panel is seen below the boot lid and houses the number plate and rectangular tail lamps, separated into outer indicators, middle main units, inner brake units and the dual reverse units, while the thin bumper and the dual exit exhaust are seen below.
The interior uses dials and components from Race-based interiors, but the layout is rather unique, with the main gauges on the driver side and the smaller ones in the centre. Two circular aircon units can be seen on either side of the dashboard, along with a passenger glovebox compartment. The car is also fitted with two sports seats with red safety belts.
The primary colour of the car is applied to the bodywork and the interior stitching, while the secondary colour is applied to the mirror shells and the inner trim around the front intake. Its rims appear to be a variation of the "Fujiwara" tuner rims seen in Los Santos Customs and other mod shops, although smaller in diameter and having four bolt details around the centre. These rims can also support a dedicated colour.
The vehicle can be equipped with a set of machine guns, which will be located on the lower intake.

Performance[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
Vehicle[]
The Savestra has good acceleration and top speed, but where it really stands out is traction. Despite the high torque delivered to the rear wheels, the high traction keeps the wheels glued to the road, making the car great for track races with lots of tight turns. However, this grip makes it hard to drift or powerslide with the vehicle. It also has an annoying tendency to downshift if a drift is not initiated properly, although the short gear ratio helps it recover quickly.
Like the Futo, the vehicle is powered by an Inline-4 engine bearing four throttle bodies. Unlike most vehicles with similar engine, the throttle bodies are facing towards the engine rather than to the outer side of the vehicle. With the "Exposed Turbos" modification, two turbochargers are added to the vehicle, although they have no performance effect unless the actual "Turbo" modification is installed. The engine sound is very unique, being a louder, higher-revving variation of those from cars like the Elegy Retro Custom, with additional effects that somewhat resemble real-life rotary engines.
Weaponry[]
Machine Gun: The vehicle can be equipped with two front-facing machine guns operated by the driver, which perform similarly to those from vehicles such as the Blazer Aqua and the Ruiner 2000, albeit with a slightly increased damage (30, compared to the 20 damage from the aforementioned vehicles) and a lower fire rate (1,000 rounds per minute, compared to the 1,200 rounds per minute on the aforementioned vehicles). They have decent firepower against players and vehicles with none or light armor, but will struggle against heavily-armored vehicles.

Trivia[]
General[]
- When the "Annis" livery is selected, the Savestra heavily resembles a Nissan Skyline (Kenmeri) with a vintage racing livery. [1]
- When the "Classic Racing Livery" is selected, the Savestra heavily resembles the Liberty Walk Mazda RX3. [2]
- The "Spenders" livery is based on the Datsun BRE livery.
- The "Estancia" livery is based on the Renown 787B livery.
- Additionally, a similar livery is also available for the RE-7B, based on the 787B.
- Upon igniting the engine, the vehicle emits a unique sound, wherein the engine can be heard warming up for a brief moment, this sound is reminiscent to those heard on real-world vehicles using Wankel engines.
- Furthermore, the vehicle itself has a similar loud revving and accelerating sound effect to that found on rotary-powered vehicles.
