The Obey Rocoto is a four-door mid-size luxury crossover SUV featured in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online.
Design[]
Grand Theft Auto V and Online[]
The Rocoto is a luxury crossover SUV which inherits the role previously slotted by the Rebla from Grand Theft Auto IV. The car's design appears to be inspired by the German styling of both the first and second generation of the Porsche Cayenne, with a size similar to the Audi Q5. The headlights and tail lights are found from those of a second generation Volkswagen Touareg.
The Rocoto is depicted with a rather large body with ample room for the occupants. At the base of the front, the vehicle features a black section with a rectangular mesh intake on the centre, which spans about one-third of the car's width. Slightly above this black section, the front is made up of a trapezium-shaped main grille with four plastic horizontal elements over the mesh pattern, as well as rhomboid-shaped outer intakes with two plastic horizontal elements and a coloured middle separation that houses modern strips. On the upper area, the centre is occupied by a smaller rectangular grille with a mesh pattern and plastic trim around it, while the outer portions are occupied by inset housings with silver trim around, where each housing has dual circular headlamps and triangle-shaped amber signals, as well as silver details around each unit. The bonnet is made up of curved lines starting from the inner sides of the headlamp housings and reaching towards the base of the windscreen, together with inner lines parallel to the main ones.
On the sides, the vehicle has slightly wider formations around the wheel arches and lower sides, along with black details around the same arches and skirting area. On the cabin area, the SUV makes use of silver trim around the windows and black inner pillars, while the front doors mount rounded mirror shells near the A-pillars, with the lower halves finished in carbon fibre and supported by black frames.
The rear of the car is predominated by the rear compartment door, which features a roof spoiler with two rectangular brake lamps over the rear window, while the lower half features a silver strip between the inner brake lamps on the middle, the Obey logo below the silver strip, the license plate on the centre of the lower area and two rectangular brake lamps beside the plate. The edges of the car bear additional lamps on the middle section, consisting of the outer turn signals and the inner main/reverse lamps. The lower area of the car consist of a vented section with dual-exit, dual exhaust tubes housed on the edges and a black bottom section. The interior is shared with the Cavalcade, using the same dial set in the enhanced version.
The car only has access to a single colour, which is applied on the bodywork and the upper halves of the mirror shells. It uses a set of rims similar to the "LozSpeed Ten" rims available in Los Santos Customs, wrapped in medium-profile tyres.

Performance[]
Grand Theft Auto V and Online[]
The Rocoto is a good alternative to the more popular SUVs in the game, the Dubsta and the second generation Baller. It has a great balance between off-road and on-road performance, with a stiffer ride and high-speed transmission that makes the vehicle more responsive and able to reach a high top speed, while the AWD layout maximizes the potential for the vehicles terrain visits. On the other hand, acceleration is somewhat average and its braking is among the worst in its class, and the ability to resist damage is poor, as after a few hard-on collisions, it is somewhat common for one of the front wheels to camber and jam into the fenders.
The Rocoto has a V8 engine with a 5-speed gearbox, powering all four wheels (with 40% of the engine power delivered to the front wheels and the rest of it to the rear). The engine sound is seemingly low powered, but somewhat high-revving with relatively smooth timing, which is also shared with the Prairie.
