Femi Kuti (born as Olufela Olufemi Anikulapo Kuti on June 16, 1962 in London, England) is a Nigerian Afrobeat and Funk musician.
Career[]
Femi Kuti is the oldest son of Fela Kuti, who was hailed as an inventor and pioneer of the Afrobeat scene during the 1960s, whose his songs "Sorrow, Tears & Blood" and "Zombie" appears on the International Funk 99 tracklist.
Kuti is known for his albums Femi Kuti, Shoki Shoki, Fight to Win, Day by Day, Africa for Africa, No Place for My Dream and Africa Shrine.
Femi Kuti appears as himself as the host of the IF99 - International Funk radio station in Grand Theft Auto IV.
