The FBI Truck is an armored law enforcement vehicle that was cut during the development of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
Design[]
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas[]
The FBI Truck is depicted as an anti-riot armored truck based on the Cadillac Gage Ranger, albeit with conventional front-hinged doors instead of the Ranger's rear-hinged doors, and no rear doors.
The front of the vehicle features a small painted bumper at the bottom and a large grille in the center, while the sections beside the grille house circular headlights above and small turn signals below. The hood area is slightly slanted in shape and opens to reveal the engine bay, while two circular mirrors can be seen mounted on the front quarters. On the sides, the vehicle has bulky steps in the middle of the wheelbase area and large access doors with visible hinges, small handles and narrow windows, along with smaller windows and a left-side fuel cap on the rear compartment. The cabin area has a split windshield on the front, while the roof of the rear compartment features a hatch where a member of the FBI can shoot from (unopenable to the player if they were to spawn the vehicle). The rear end features small windows on the upper area, as well as a gray bumper at the bottom, with a license plate in the center and circular tail lights above the outer edges.
Like the S.W.A.T., the FBI Truck is depicted with a navy blue color and San Andreas Police Department markings (a rather unusual feature for an FBI vehicle, quite possibly due to it being originally intended for use by the SWAT). Like the Barracks and the aforementioned S.W.A.T., the truck also has a siren but no strobe/beacon lights.
Performance[]
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas[]
The FBI Truck is a rugged, near-indestructible police vehicle. The all-wheel-drive layout handles well on rough terrain and is capable of high speeds, making up for its poor steering and braking at high speed due to its weight.
Although it is a well-armored police vehicle, it has an average damage-proof body, like most vehicles in-game. It cannot take many major hits from larger vehicles and it is not bulletproof either, withstanding bullets better than an average vehicle, but for a limited time only.
The vehicle uses a diesel engine and a 5-speed gearbox to power all wheels. It shares the sound with the S.W.A.T., the Barracks OL and the Enforcer.

- According to the official strategy guide, the FBI Truck had a machine gun and a shield on the roof, intended to be used by SWAT members. It has the same model as the one mounted on the Launch.
