The Emerald Station (also known as simply Emerald) is an underground Liberty City Subway station in Grand Theft Auto IV and Episodes from Liberty City. It serves the J/A Algonquin Outer Line and adjoining 3/8 Broker Line.

Description[]

Emerald is a two-entrance station situated on both sides of Emerald Street between Luddite Row and Albany Avenue, at the border between Lower Easton and Chinatown in Algonquin, Liberty City. The station is particularly close to Algonquin's hidden arms dealer just southwest of the station.

Influence[]

Emerald Station is based on Canal Street station, which is located on the IRT Lexington Avenue Line.

Events[]

Grand Theft Auto IV[]

The station features in Three Leaf Clover, when Niko Bellic and his crew are forced to escape into the station from the police after the bank heist. It is revealed during the mission that the station has a service exit in Easton, before Easton Station.

Emerald LTA Error Sign

The error on the signs within the station.

Signs depicting the A/8 train platform in the station show the wrong information. Instead of showing "Next stop: Castle Gardens", the sign shows "Next stop: Emerald", which is the current station.
