El Corona Village is a housing project in Los Santos, during the events of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
Description[]
The projects are one of the largest found in Los Santos, featuring poverty-ridden housing. As the name implies, it is located in the center of the Mexican/Latino neighborhood of El Corona, just across the tracks from Unity Station. The projects consist of 15 buildings and 2 parking areas for residents.
Influence[]
El Corona Village resembles the Dana Strand Village Housing Projects of Wilimington, Los Angeles.
Crime[]
The projects are deep within Varrios Los Aztecas territory. Between The Green Sabre, it was controlled by the Los Santos Vagos, but during the riots, it is recaptured by the Aztecas. Gang members can be seen hanging around the projects in groups, even parking in one of the lots.
