Description[]
Edison Avenue stretches from Babbage Drive to Vitullo Avenue on an upwards slope. It is a two-way avenue with bilateral parking lanes. The road is covered in asphalt and the pavements are made of large concrete slabs. The presence of a cobblestone patch shows that the road was originally paved in stone and covered in asphalt afterwards.
At the extremity of Edison Avenue a handsome brownstone and brick building rises majestically amidst charming townhouses and towering oak trees - a replica of the Edwin A. Stevens Hall of the Stevens Institute of Technology. The white balusters of the North Tudor Medical Center are further testimony to the architectural richness that gives Edison Avenue its distinctively picturesque character.

True to central Alderney's road nomenclature, the road may have been named after American inventor Thomas Edison.
