The East Bone County Town is a small unnamed town located in Bone County, San Andreas, that appears in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
Description[]
The town is located in the eastern area of Bone County, on the outskirts of western Las Venturas, bordered by the neighborhood of Whitewood Estates to the east, the oil fields of Octane Springs to the south, and the restricted Area 69 military base to the west.
Unlike other towns in San Andreas, this area is not named on road signs, and its population size is not given. The area is treated as part of Bone County by the in-game boundary/map zone files, and referred to as being "East Bone County" by the police scanner.
Due to being located between the border of Bone County and Las Venturas, both the San Andreas Sheriff and Las Venturas Police Department officers and police vehicles can appear in traffic and during wanted level chases. Moreover, ambulances and firetrucks may be seen responding to emergencies, which never happens in other desert areas.
It is home to The Big Spread Ranch strip club. Places of interest also include an Ammu-Nation store, a hotdog stand, a trailer park and a Xoomer gas station. A small car dealership is located to the north of the town, adjacent to Verdant Meadows Airfield.
It has two highways: one connects to the Pilson Intersection and the other to Julius Thruway North. There is also a portion of the Brown Streak Railroad that cuts right through it, which plays a minor role in the sixth Hunter Quarry side-mission.
The town appears to be inspired by various towns and settlements west of Las Vegas, such as Calico Basin, Bonnie Springs, and Blue Diamond.
