Design
Grand Theft Auto V
+
Grand Theft Auto V and Online
The car features very strong design elements from the 1930s or 1940s, based on the Dodge Power Wagon from the late 40s. It could also be based on the Studebaker US6 for its grille and lights, a military truck from the mid-40s. Judging by the grille and the overall military-like appearance, it is likely a military truck from World War II.
+
The truck features very strong design elements from selected pickups and vans of the 1930s and 1940s. It is heavily based on the Dodge Power Wagon from the late 40s, with traits of the Studebaker US6 from the mid-40s, seen in its grille and lights. Its tall stature, off-road nature, 1940s-derived design and greenish color also resembles the Soviet ZIL-164 range.

The Duneloader is depicted as a large and heavy pickup truck, which has large wheel with rugged tires. The front features a large bumper with a mounted winch and an underside plating to protect the axle, as well as four circular headlights protected by two small grilles. The vehicle also features side vents and what appears to be a snorkel air intake coming from the left side, along with large fenders and stepsides. The Duneloader has a long load bed with a missing tailgate, either empty or with random garbage, such as old tires or planks. The rear lights are generic semitruck lights.
+
The lower area of the front fascia features a large black bumper with a sump guard below it, a winch behind it and a plate holder on the driver side, while the upper area features a rectangular grille with vertical separations and four circular headlights mounted on the fenders, behind two small grilled defenses. The hood area has small vents on the sides, as well as a black snorkel air intake coming from the left side of the engine bay, which is almost as tall as the cabin. The sides make use of wide fender arches and side steps, which provide access to the cabin. The cabin itself is very similar to the Rat-Loader, but uses a larger windshield with bulkier wipers and smaller rear windows.

  +
The rear area consist of a long truck bed with wide rear fender arches and no tailgate on the end, along with circular tail lights derived from trucks like the Phantom and the Packer. A plate holder can be seen on the passenger-side fender.
The vehicle is only available in a single color scheme and is always rusty.

  +
  +
The interior of the truck is shared with the Rat-Loader, being a worn variation of the one used in the Bobcat XL. The center of the interior may have several extra components in the enhanced version, like two different cups within a cup holder (Burger Shot milkshake or ECola can), an ashtray or a phone holder.
  +
  +
The truck may spawn either with an empty bed or with two different variations of assorted debris around the front area. It can spawn in a variety of colors with a rusty appearance, where the primary one is applied on the bodywork and the secondary one on the fenders and side steps. It uses plain, industrial-like wheels with a worn appearance, wrapped in high-profile tires with knobby treads.

Grand Theft Auto V and Online
The truck features a high ground clearance and high profile off-road tires come fitted as standard, it has a good performance when off-roading but falls short when hillclimbing due to its lack of 4WD. Acceleration is more than adequate due to its great torque, especially when upgraded. Weight is surprisingly low considering its real life counterpart, which weighs in at nearly three tons. Because of this, the truck can be easily slowed down when crashing into light vehicles. Top speed is quite impressive and can keep up with modern less expensive cars. Handling is mediocre as expected. The ride is stiff and turning is unresponsive but it has low body roll due to its robust leaf spring suspension.

The truck features a high ground clearance and has good performance when off-roading, but falls short when hillclimbing due to the RWD layout. Acceleration is more than adequate due to its great torque, especially when upgraded. Weight is surprisingly low considering its real life counterpart, which weighs in at nearly three tons.   +
  +
The Duneloader can also tolerate deep water. While not amphibious, the Duneloader can be submerged up until the snorkel on the left side of the cab is drowned. This is because exhausts in GTA V determine when the vehicle should cut out under water, and the Duneloader's snorkel is considered an exhaust by the game - moreover, small amounts of exhaust fumes can be seen coming out of the snorkel. Since the snorkel ("exhaust") is raised above the cab, the player can drive the Duneloader underwater so long as the tip of the snorkel remains above the water surface. This trait is shared with its armed variant, the Half-track.
  +
  +
The Duneloader is powered by a large engine that resembles those found in the Phantom and Flatbed, but the low quality of the texture makes it unable to determine its exact configuration. It can be noted that the vehicle's engine and transmission seem relatively undermentioned, as the vehicle tends to over-rev during gearshifts, severely impacting the vehicle's acceleration and a lack of a 5th gear results in a low top speed, despite the relatively high-revving engine. In the original version, its engine sound is the same as light/medium trucks like the Benson and the Mule, while in the enhanced version, it uses a smoother engine sound similar to the one on the Rat-Loader and the Rusty Rebel.

  +
The player is able to stand in the bed of the vehicle without the risk of falling off, and take cover in the back of the cab.
The Duneloader is powered by a large engine that resembles those of the Phantom and the Flatbed, complete with an air filter on the side. Because of the low detailing, it is unknown what is the current cylinder configuration. It shares both its engine noise and its horn with the Benson, the Mule and the Dozer.

The Bravado Duneloader is a two-door pickup truck featured in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online.

Design

Grand Theft Auto V and Online

The truck features very strong design elements from selected pickups and vans of the 1930s and 1940s. It is heavily based on the Dodge Power Wagon from the late 40s, with traits of the Studebaker US6 from the mid-40s, seen in its grille and lights. Its tall stature, off-road nature, 1940s-derived design and greenish color also resembles the Soviet ZIL-164 range.

The rear area consist of a long truck bed with wide rear fender arches and no tailgate on the end, along with circular tail lights derived from trucks like the Phantom and the Packer. A plate holder can be seen on the passenger-side fender.

Performance

Grand Theft Auto V and Online

The truck features a high ground clearance and has good performance when off-roading, but falls short when hillclimbing due to the RWD layout. Acceleration is more than adequate due to its great torque, especially when upgraded. Weight is surprisingly low considering its real life counterpart, which weighs in at nearly three tons. Because of this, the truck can be easily slowed down when crashing into light vehicles. Top speed is quite impressive and can keep up with modern, less expensive cars. Handling is mediocre as expected. The ride is stiff and turning is unresponsive but it has low body roll due to its robust leaf spring suspension.

The player is able to stand in the bed of the vehicle without the risk of falling off, and take cover in the back of the cab.

Prominent Appearances in Missions

Grand Theft Auto Online

 • A Duneloader appears as the Set-up vehicle for the Gunrunning Bunker, a mission only done once when the player first buys it.
 • After The Criminal Enterprises update, there is a custom Duneloader in the Bunker used for the Ammu-Nation Contract mission. It always spawns in a matte green primary and classic black secondary color, and always bears a black and yellow plate with the registration 29KXR232.
