Downtown Vinewood is a neighborhood of Vinewood, Los Santos, in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online. It is bordered by West Vinewood to the west, Hawick to the south, Vinewood Hills to the north and East Vinewood to the east. The district acts as Vinewood's main commercial area, and is focused around the eastern stretches of Vinewood Boulevard.
Description
Downtown Vinewood is primarily meant for shopping and business. As a result, there is a higher concentration of stores here than anywhere else in Vinewood. Aside from the standard souvenir shops such as the Fred's Pictures store, there are also a variety of restaurants, bars and clubs. A 24/7 convenience store is located just a block away from Vinewood Boulevard, and is useful for those going in or out of the city.
The neighborhood is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Los Santos. Downtown Vinewood is home to classic movie theaters like the iconic Oriental Theater, the Whirligig Theater and the Doppler. The touring company Vinewood Star Tours is headquartered here, and their tour buses can be seen frequently on Vinewood Boulevard.
Downtown Vinewood is located on the absolute northern edge of Los Santos, and as such, is surrounded by countryside to the north.
