Double Down is an Adversary Mode featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of The Contract update, released on 13 January, 2022 during Double Down Week.
Description[]
The mode is a slightly updated version of Siege Mentality. The players are put into one of two teams. A team of Hold Outs and a team of Attackers. The Hold Outs team's objective is to survive four real-time minutes whilst staying in one location. The Attackers' objective is to kill all of the Hold Outs. The key difference is that the Hold Outs team is limited to two players and they play as Franklin Clinton and Lamar Davis.
The Attackers have unlimited lives, whilst the Hold Outs have one life each. If the Attackers manage to kill all the Hold Outs, the Attackers win the round. If the Attackers fail to kill all the Hold Outs in four minutes, the Hold Outs win the round.
During these missions, the Attackers are armed solely with Double Barrel Shotguns with 60 rounds of ammo, whilst the Hold Outs have many powerful MKII Weapons at their disposal:

If a Hold Out leaves the play area for longer than 15 seconds, they will be Wasted and lose the round. The play area is not defined on the map, but some borders may be marked with obvious props.
Some vehicles may be found within the maps but with a few exceptions are not able to be used by the players on either team and are simply props.

There are seven Double Down missions in Grand Theft Auto Online, each one at a different location. These are:
