Divine is a character in the Grand Theft Auto series who appears as one of the selectable protagonists of Grand Theft Auto.
Description
Divine is depicted as being of African descent. She has black hair, a yellow shirt, black pants, and black shoes in-game.
As the game follows one storyline, if Divine is chosen as the protagonist she will follow the same story as the other selectable protagonists, including committing the same crimes and murders, and having the same relationships with the Vercotti Crime Family, Uncle Fu's Crime Syndicate, El Burro, Samuel Deever and Brother Marcus.
The only difference between Divine and the other protagonists is the in-game appearance (clothes, hair and skin).
Like the other protagonists, Divine's default name can be changed by the player on the character selection menu. This feature is also used to activate cheat codes in the game.

Trivia
- The dialogue was not updated with the addition of female protagonists in the PC version of Grand Theft Auto. As a result, Divine and the other female protagonist are still referred to as a "boy" by the other characters.
- Divine, along with Candy, Gretchen, Katie, Mikki, Ulrika and the GTA Online Protagonist (if chosen to be female) is one of the few playable female protagonists existing in the Grand Theft Auto series so far.
- Divine's appearance appears to be inspired by blaxploitation heroines such as Pam Grier and Tamara Dobson. The former, Grier, would later star as the radio presenter of The Lowdown 91.1 radio station in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online.
