The Davis Courts Building is a courthouse in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online, located on Macdonald Street in Davis, Los Santos.
Description[]
The courthouse serves the incorporated city of Davis as well as its surrounding neighborhoods. The sign on the building says "Courts Building City of Davis". It is the tallest building in South Los Santos, standing at 13 stories. It is adjacent to the Davis Sheriff's Station, City Hall and Public Library.
Influence[]
It bears a striking resemblance on the real-life Compton City Hall & Superior Court building[1]. On the plaza there is a monument replicating the real-life Martin Luther King Monument[2] in the same location in Compton, however its design is symmetrical and more closely resembles Oscar Niemeyer's iconic Cathedral of Brasília in Brazil[3].
