Damon Garrett Riddick (born June 15, 1971), better known by his stage name Dâm-Funk (stylized as DāM-FunK; pronounced "Dame-Funk"), is an American funk musician, vocalist and producer from Pasadena, California.
Career[]
In 2007, Riddick signed with the L.A.-based record label Stones Throw Records.
In 2021, he was hired by Rockstar Games to compose scores for The Contract update for Grand Theft Auto Online.
On December 15, 2023, Riddick released DāM-FunK Presents The Music of Grand Theft Auto Online Original Score, an album featuring remixed/reimagined versions of the Grand Theft Auto Online official score, including tracks Riddick himself composed. The album appears in-game as the Even the Score mixtape, a pre-recorded West Coast Classics 10th anniversary nightclub mix hosted by Riddick himself.
