The name of the business sounds like 'croquet hoop', a piece of equipment used in the sport, croquet. Furthermore, the o and q and C A H in the two logos depict the the colors of the balls in the game and one logo also features two crossed mallets.
The name may also be a play on the British term "cock-a-hoop", which is to be extremely pleased or boastful.
Judging by the store's locations, it is a reference to the real-life shop Brooks Brothers with the Portola Drive store being a replica of the Brooks Brothers store at 468 Rodeo Drive.
