“Okay, so... let's go fuck up a weed farm. "But hey, Dax, you love weed, right?" And yeah, I do. Unless the corporate jizzbags making it are breeding it to be weaker. You heard me, FM. Weaker. Apparently the average American consumer likes a "mild high". Well fuck that, and fuck them. Let's nuke their crop, and get the good people of Los Santos back on the hard stuff. Go pick up some herbicide, then we're gonna go crop-dusting.”
—Dax's introductory brief
“Okay, I got an idea. You know what I hate about legal weed, Freshmeat? The kind of jizzstains who make it. Hipster jizzstains. Corporate jizzstains. Gentrified jizzstains. And they all got one thing in common: high prices, and their shit is weaker than camomile fucking tea. Well, I say we shut that shit down, and get the noble consumers of this great country back onto something worth their time. Let's go grab some herbicide, and dump it all over their crop.”
After requesting work from Dax, the GTA Online Protagonist will soon receive a call back from him in which he complains about legal weed, especially its high price and weak effects. He asks the player to grab some herbicide and a crop duster in order to destroy the crops.
Once the phone call ends, the player heads to a marked location to collect some herbicide left in the back of a Sadler.
Collect the hazardous chemicals from the trunk of the Sadler.
Press [button] to collect the hazardous chemicals.
You collected the hazardous chemicals.
Once collected, they head down to a nearby location where some Dusters are parked, guarded by a large group of Rednecks. Upon boarding a Duster, they are tasked with spraying herbicide over three sets of crops, each in a different location.
The weed farms can be contaminated by using the Duster to spray the crops with the hazardous chemicals from above.
You added the hazardous chemicals.
The chemicals can be deployed via the appropriate button, which will spray the chemicals from the bottom of the Duster. There is an unlimited amount of chemicals available, so the player is free to use them liberally.
“Okay, so once you and your crop duster are in the air, all you have to do is fly over the weed and hit the button!”
—Dax's explanatory phone call
“Once you got the crop duster, just fly over the weed field and hit the release button.”
—Alternate phone call
Fly low and hold [button] to spray the chemicals to contaminate the weed farm.
Each weed farm contains a sizable ground force that will shoot at the player's Duster as it approaches, with some locations being guarded by a Technical Custom with a gunner on the back. The player must deploy enough chemicals over the farm to deplete its "Crop Health" bar, which may require several flyovers to achieve. The player must also not be at too high an altitude when spraying the chemicals, or they will not take effect. While the actual weed plants are marked with a red arrow, it is not necessary for the player to aim for them; instead, any chemicals sprayed while within the red square as shown on the map will count. Experienced pilots can thus plan a flight trajectory and even intentionally slow their speed to maximize chemical coverage and reduce the number of flyovers required.
You contaminated a weed farm.
Upon successfully contaminating the first weed farm, enemy reinforcements will begin to pursue the player in three waves of one Maverick containing a pilot and two gunners. With the Duster's lack of maneuverability and self-defense capabilities, combined with the enemy gunners being accurate enough to hit the player even while in flight, there is a significant risk of the Duster being shot down and destroyed. Fortunately, a new Duster will spawn immediately to replace the destroyed one, and the player is free to board a new plane and continue their task. Similarly, players should avoid flying the plane at higher altitudes, as it will also damage the engine.
“ALMOST THERE :D just one more set of crops 2 piss on”
—Dax's text upon successfully contaminating 2 weed farms
“shit on one more patch of weed and ur done =D”
—Alternate text
“And, hey. You know what I hate even more than shitty weed? Shitty weed vape juice. If there's any tankers of that bullshit up there, you take 'em out.”
—Dax's phone call after successfully contaminating all 3 weed farms
“Hey, listen. Do you see any tankers up there? These particular assholes do a line of weed vape juice. Vape juice, for God's sake! Needless to say, that needs to burn.”
—Alternate phone call
Once all weed farms have been successfully contaminated, Dax calls the player with a final task to destroy a Tanker. Upon successfully destroying the Tanker, the player receives a 2-star wanted level and is instructed to leave the area. The mission is completed once the player leaves the area, even if the wanted level has not been lost.
You destroyed the tanker.
“You did a good thing today. That bullshit didn't even deserve to be called weed. This country has to have standards, dammit!”
—Dax's post-mission phone call
“You just saved a whole lot of people from the lowest high of their lives. Trust me, in the long run, they'll thank you.”
