The Vapid Chino Custom is a custom coupe featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the Lowriders update.
Design[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
The Chino Custom is a lowrider variant of the Chino, where it brings only minor changes by default.
The vehicle retains its original design from the standard model, retaining the front and rear fascias. However, the car has received minor changes, where the rear fenders have the corresponding "CHINO" badges near the tail lights, being a bit larger than the one on the rear. Its interior is largely identical, but the rear has a smoother texture and adds a pair of speakers. Its underside is fitted with a paintable frame and has a visible driveshaft, a different exhaust setup (dual pipes instead of a single Y-split pipe), and visible hydraulic bars connected to the suspension.
While the Chino Custom retains the primary color for the body and the interior stitching, the lower frames are also painted with a primary color, while the inner portions of the seats are painted with a secondary color. Both the interior and the dials can change colors as well. The vehicle also gets custom "Big Worm" lowrider wheels, along with white-wall tires.

Performance[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
The Chino Custom improves upon the original by adding improved acceleration and slightly higher top speed. It feels more responsive in the corners as well because of the lower center of gravity. However, the cornering radius of the Chino Custom is slightly wider than the normal Chino, but this is only noticeable in extreme circumstances and will seldom be an issue in casual driving.
Similar to the regular version, the Chino Custom uses a heavy V8 engine, which is mated to a 4-speed gearbox and powers the rear wheels. It shares the same engine sound with the regular Chino, the Buccaneer and the Manana.

Trivia[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
- If the Chino has been upgraded to the custom variant and has the single or triple Bug Catcher Intake on the hood, the player can strangely still purchase an air-filter, however it will not show. This also applies to the Buccaneer Custom and the Tornado Custom.
- Like the Buccaneer Custom and Tornado Custom, the player will rest his/her arm out of the side window while cruising at low speeds or remaining stationary. This does not occur when in first person view.
