The Cherry Popper Ice Cream Factory is a soft ice-cream factory, which appears in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories.
Description
The factory is located in Little Havana, Vice City Mainland. It is a small one-story building with two entrance garages, a smaller garage by its' northern side and a loading dock around the back. A gate can be found west of the factory, which leads to the factory's compound. The compound is mainly empty, only containing a loading dock and a stairway that leads to a balcony on the factory's side and another staircase, which leads to the factory's rooftop.
The factory's interior is mainly inaccessible in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, where it cannot be accessed at all. The only part of the interior seen in GTA: Vice City is a small storage room, which houses an Ice Cream van and a modest hidden office.
The factory is owned by Maude Hanson and is used as a front for drug distribution, until 1986, when Tommy Vercetti purchases it from her after gaining some influence in the city. After Tommy learns of the factory's true activities, he continues to distribute drugs, as well as selling soft ice-cream made there. It is unknown what became of the factory after the events of 1986.

- There is a normally inaccessible office hidden behind the save point in the factory.
- In the early PS2 version of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, saving at the factory would corrupt the save file. Why this would happen is unknown, however this has been fixed in further releases of the game.
