It is an affluent area of southwest London, bounded to the south by the River Thames and Westminster to the east. The Chelsea Bridge is located to the south, connecting the neighborhood with Battersea.
This is the first area visited during the events of GTA London 1969.

It is based on the real-life area of Chelsea in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, London.
