Charge Island Sewage Works is a water resource recovery facility (WRRF) that appears in Grand Theft Auto IV, Episodes from Liberty City and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.

The facility is located on Charge Island in the borough of Dukes, Liberty City, and is used for both water treatment and seawater desalination.

In 2008, Gracie Ancelotti, the daughter of Ancelotti Crime Family boss Giovanni Ancelotti, is kidnapped in Alderney by Niko Bellic on the orders of Gerald McReary and held hostage by the McReary Crime Family. They ask for the diamonds stolen by Luis Fernando Lopez during a deal at The Libertonian museum, in exchange for the mob daughter. The exchange between the Ancelotti's associate Tony Prince and the kidnappers happens at the industrial plant.
However, Russian Mafia boss Ray Bulgarin confronts Niko after acquiring the diamonds, claiming ownership of them. Bulgarin quickly escapes from the plant before telling his armed men to kill Niko and Patrick McReary and retrieve the diamonds.
Events of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars[]
In 2009, a meeting between the Korean gang's Wonsu Nodong assassins group leader Wu "Kenny" Lee and his unnamed FIB insider contact takes place at the plant. They are ambushed by LCPD undercover detective Wade Heston and his Triad associate Huang Lee.
As soon as the Internal Affairs Division arrives at the scene, a massive shooutout happens between Huang Lee and Kenny's bodyguards, before they chase Kenny by boat throughout the Humboldt River.
