It begins at the bridge near Joshua Road outside Stab City and continues up until reaching the Calafia Bridge where it then becomes North Calafia Way and Cassidy Trail. The road is named after Calafia, a fictional warrior queen who ruled over a kingdom of black women living on the mythical Island of California.
