Burger Shot is a chain of hamburger fast-food restaurants in the HD Universe of the Grand Theft Auto series. The player can buy stocks from them on the Lcn-exchange.com website in Grand Theft Auto V.
The chain is also featured in Rockstar North's Manhunt series.
Description[]
Grand Theft Auto IV and Episodes from Liberty City[]
Burger Shot appears in GTA IV as a location where the player can replenish their health. Players can purchase a $1 "Bleeder" burger at any Burger Shot restaurant for full health. The player can also download a Burger Shot background for their upgraded phone via Vipluxuryringtones.com. Burger Shot operates its own website, Burgershot.net; certain Benson trucks also carry the Burger Shot logo. According to the Burger Shot website, they have a partnership with the Bank of Liberty, as all Merry Meals come with a "Kids Kredit Kard." In Episodes from Liberty City, the Burger Shot and Weazel merchandise a menu with Republican Space Rangers action figures. The chain is one of the sponsors of the CNT show, I'm Rich.
According to Our-own-reality.com, former Liberty City Cocks soccer team captain Traci Wilson lives in Los Santos and works unrecognized at a Burger Shot.
GTA Chinatown Wars[]
Burger Shot outlets are inaccessible in Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, but players can purhase scratch cards promoted by the chain can from various stores, and win cash or free food as rewards. Burgers wrapped in Burger Shot paper can also randomly be found (and eaten for health, unless they are moldy) in green dumpsters.
Grand Theft Auto V and Online[]
Burger Shot makes a reappearance in GTA V and GTA Online though with slightly less brand presence compared to GTA IV, as well as a lack of accessible interiors. Its main stock competitor is Up-n-Atom Burger. One notable employee who works for the chain is Ahron Ward, who works in the Vespucci location while also serving as the primary drug dealer for Jimmy De Santa. With The Chop Shop update in Grand Theft Auto Online, Ahron is still seen to work in the same location while keeping up with his drug business.
In the Strangers and Freaks mission Pulling Another Favor, Tonya will talk to Franklin about the time that they had sex behind a Burger Shot when they were only 13, although Franklin denies that anything happened.
Influence[]
The chain is a parody of American fast food chain Burger King. The name and color scheme resembles Burger King, but the style of logo resembles Hardee's. Its notoriously unhealthy and sub-par food, aggressive marketing tactics (especially towards children in particular), and boastful identity (even prizing its status as America's favorite chain restaurant) suggests that it also parodies McDonald's.
"Burger Shot" is a slang term for a photo of the female genitalia. It is also the name of a series of sandwiches once available at Burger King.[2]
Location Influences[]
Grand Theft Auto IV and Episodes[]
- The Golden Pier location is based on 62 Chelsea Piers in New York City.
Grand Theft Auto V and Online[]
- The Del Perro Pier location is based on the Pizza Hut location on the Santa Monica Pier in Santa Monica, California.
Menu[]
In GTA IV, the player can only purchase a $1 "Bleeder" burger, and outings with friend or girlfriends to Burger Shots will nominally cost even higher at $100. It is interesting to note Burger Shot tills, as well as burgershot.net, also promote four meals on menus in a similar fashion as what is offered in GTA San Andreas, although only the "Bleeder" burger is available and consists of only a single burger costing $1:

Locations[]
Grand Theft Auto IV[]
In Grand Theft Auto IV, Burger Shot operates a total of ten outlets in and throughout Liberty City and Alderney State alone, including two integrated mini-restaurants at the city's two Memory Lanes bowling alleys, and one closed outlet in Cerveza Heights, Dukes. Some of the outlets features padding on the windows and signs on the entrance stating that the store has either undergone renovation, closed down, or moved. They include as follows:
Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars[]
The distribution of Burger Shots in GTA Chinatown Wars is mostly the same, but with the Alderney branch and Memory Lanes outlets omitted, as Alderney is not in the game and Memory Lanes are not accessible.
Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online[]
There are two Burger Shot restaurants in Los Santos, located in Vespucci Canals and the Pleasure Pier. According to an unused Police Scanner audio file, a Vinewood Burger Shot was intended to be in the game. However, it does not exist. It is possible that it was replaced by Up-n-Atom Burger.

- If one looks closely at the menu in all Burger Shots it says at the very bottom of both "The Bleeder" and "The Heart Stopper" parts in fine print "This burger may kill you. We can't be held respondsible [sic]".
- Fine print text is also present on a different "The Bleeder" poster: "Only some restaurants offer thisdeal [sic], and it is only before 8AM".
- The company's website mentions that customers often complain that competitor Wigwam Burger's fries are better; this is a reference to a common opinion that McDonald's fries are better than Burger King's fries.
