For a similar vehicle in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto V, see Dozer.
The Bulldozer is a heavy earth-moving vehicle in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.
Design[]
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories[]
Despite its name, the Bulldozer assumes the design of a large generic front loader with a scoop attached on the front. It acts like a replacement for the original Dozer.
The Bulldozer is longer than the Dozer and features a closed cab complete with doors and large fenders on its wheels, as well as a large exhaust. However, the new "scooping" ram of the Bulldozer is not adjustable.
Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars[]
The Bulldozer returns with the same characteristics as the GTA Vice City Stories rendition. The wheels appear to be more proportionate to the fenders and again, the scoop cannot be used.

Performance[]
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories[]
Unlike the Dozer, the Bulldozer features an all-wheel-drive configuration (as opposed to rear wheel drive), resulting in the vehicle suffering from poorer cornering and requiring a large turning radius. However, the vehicle has a surprisingly decent acceleration and top speed for its size, which puts it above any other industrial vehicles.
It seems to be powered by a V8 engine, which humorously emits the same sound as sports car such as the Infernus, the Comet, the Stinger and the Cheetah. This feature is shared with the Splitz-6 ATV.
GTA Vice City Stories Overview[]
Acceleration (0-60 mph in Seconds) |
Top Speed (mph / kmh) |
Gears | Engine | Drivetrain (FWD / RWD / AWD) |
Mass (kg / lbs) |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
N/A | 37 / 60 | 4 | Diesel | AWD | 11316 / 24948 |
N/A | N/A | 4 | N/A | AWD | Cannot be observed |
Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars[]
Its top speed receives a minor reduction and its acceleration is now mediocre. The Bulldozer also lacks a movable ram that is seen on the Dozer.
Being large and heavy, however, the Bulldozer is significantly durable and suitable for pushing aside or ramming vehicles, which in GTA Chinatown Wars is particularly helpful when disabling pursuing police cars.
