The street is likely inspired by Marengo Street in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles. However, the name is taken from the real-life Bridge Street, also in Boyle Heights.

- The in-game map depicts the western section of the street like an intersection with Los Santos Freeway, yet it is actually an overpass/bridge. This is only a visual oversight, as GPS waypoints do not make turns on that specific point.
