Box (wee) is a cut gift item featured in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
Description[]
As suggested by the default.ide data file[1], this item was originally intended as an item to be collected and gifted to girlfriends in order to boost the relationship progress. "Wee" is a Scottish term for small – Rockstar North is from Scotland.
This item is implied to have been originally available from De Koch Diamonds jewelry stores (cut interior) as a purchasable jewelry box, as suggested by unused "De Koch" interior transition names found in the american.gxt file and a similar interior-exclusive prop WATCH_PICKUP intended to be held by pedestrians.[2]
A large variant of this item sharing the same textures can also be found in the files, also unused.
Performance[]
If the player somehow manages to spawn the gift boxes (without swapping its model with an existing weapon), the weapon will be available in the inventory, although it will not function as a melee weapon (does not appear in CJ's hands) or a gift.
