Description[]

It is located in East London, England, spanning west-east from Mile End.

The area was formerly known as Stratford, and "Bow" is an abbreviation of the medieval name Stratford-at-Bow, in which "Bow" refers to the bowed bridge built here in the early 12th century.

Influence[]

It is based on the real-life area of Bow in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, East London.
