Salvatore Leone informs Claude that the Colombian Cartel have an almost infinite amount of funds from selling SPANK throughout the city, and that he wants Claude to destroy the freighter docked in Portland Harbor where Curly Bob went off to being used by the Cartel to manufacture SPANK, Salvatore tells Claude to see explosives expert 8-Ball at his shop to get the explosives necessary. Claude then drives to meet 8-Ball.

There is no monetary reward for completing the mission. Completing the mission unlocks 8-Ball's mission Bomb Da Base: Act II triggered at his bomb shop in Harwood.

Salvatore comes to the conclusion that the boat that Curly Bobled Claude to is the place where the Cartel are making SPANK.
Salvatore orders Claude to destroy the boat as a favor for him.
Salvatore tells Claude that once he destroys the boat, he will be welcomed into the family and become made. Before Claude goes, Salvatore tells him to visit 8-Ball, as he will have to provide Claude with any equipment needed for the job.
This mission is only a mere cutscene, yet after watching through it, it will be deemed as a completed mission in the statistics.
The player can save after this mission before triggering the second part of this mission at 8-Ball's autoyard.
Salvatore promises to make Claude a "made man" upon completion of this mission, even though Claude is not Italian (as pointed out in Cipriani's Chauffeur, when Joey introduces Claude to Toni Cipriani, saying "He ain't Italian but he can get things fixed"). Under the code of the Cosa Nostra, non-Italians cannot be "made". Also, real members of the Mafia are only eligible to be made after about 10 to 20 years of experience with the Mafia. As of this mission, it is only the third time that Claude meets Salvatore. However, revelations in the mission Last Requests could imply Salvatore was simply lying to Claude in order to earn his trust and manipulate his loyalty.
The title of the mission seems to be a reference to English musician "Bomb the Bass".
Extra dialogue was added in PC and mobile versions where Salvatore mentions that the Family should fight the Colombian Cartel, but aren't strong enough due to being at war with the Triads, though it is not subtitled and Salvatore doesn't lipsync with them.[1]
In The Definitive Edition, the subtitles are used and Salvatore lipsyncs with the extended line.
