Bobby June is a minor character appearing in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online.
She is voiced by Trish Suhr.
History[]
Background[]
Bobby June is the host of the radio talk show Bless Your Heart, which broadcasts on Blaine County Talk Radio.
She is mainly known for her conservative, right-wing political views and rather unhealthy or unpleasant-sounding recipes, though the guests on her show seem to like them.
Her stepson, Randy, died "naturally" of polio at the age of seven. She named a casserole after him called 'Cripple's Crockpot' which she claims is one of her favorite recipes.
Bobby also has several of her own branded products available for purchase at stores and restaurants, such as the "Bobby June Greased Lightning 3-Minute Rendering Machine & Deep Fryer" and "Vice City-Inspired Tanning Spray", as well as frozen versions of her Deep Fried Margarine Sticks, "Cripple's Crockpot" casserole, and Deep Bayou Breaded Fried Alligator Tenderloin. She also has a collaborative deal with Up-n-Atom Burger, offering her own branded 128-Ounce Commemorative Soda Jug at restaurants.
Character[]
Personality[]
Bobby June is against vaccinations, as she thinks it's "horrible to let your body fight out a disease to become immune". She has a raspy Southern accent. She claims she has "so-called" diabetes, but does not pay attention to it, and has had three strokes as a result but insists she is fine as "It's the worry that'll kill you". She also claims doctors have told her that her arteries are "like cement".
Inspiration[]
June's culinary career and racist personality makes her a possible parody of Paula Deen, a disgraced American celebrity chef and cooking show television host.
