For boats in general, see Boats.

The Boat is a inflatable dinghy in Grand Theft Auto.

Design[]

The Boat is a small red boat with a single engine on the back. There are black frames on the middle and the driver sits on the left side of the boat.

Availability[]

The Boat, unfortunately, is not meant to be driven by the player as trying to jump on it will cause the player to plunge into the water and drown. If obtained by hacking/mods, the Boat will behave like a car on land, with slow acceleration, a low top speed and average handling. It is possible to swim with it, although falling down into the river will cause severe damage to the boat, and sometimes even an instant explosion.

The boat can only be seen in three missions. In Heist Almighty - Introduction, the protagonist has to throw a briefcase of money onto a boat from a bridge, in exchange for the freedom of Bubby's dog, Sasha. During mission Heist Almighty - Bulldog, the player similarly has to throw the ransom onto a boat, this time in exchange for the freedom of the wife of the Vercotti Crime Family contact. The third appearance of the boat is in mission Mandarin Mayhem - Phone 3: Mission 3, during which No Chin tries to escape from San Andreas on water, though the protagonist kills him with a Rocket Launcher.
