Black Lightman is a minor character in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories.

History[]

Background[]

Lightman is an actor who has just left rehab, described by the mission brief as an "aging alcoholic". He lives in a mansion in Cedar Grove, Shoreside Vale.

Events of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories[]

In 1998, Ned Burner, posing as the father at the Liberty City Cathedral, has Toni Cipriani kill him for not giving an interview to the Liberty Tree newspaper. Lightman is killed on his way to the Liberty City Free Radio studio on Staunton Island, arriving in a limousine. Lightman was scheduled to do the interview in promotion for an upcoming film premier. His co-stars are Faith W. and DB-P. In See the Sight Before Your Flight, it is revealed he has a house on Cedar Grove in Shoreside Vale, where Toni is required to photograph the tourist, but it appears to be for sale by the Home Ease real estate agency.
