The Bentover is a luxury sedan featured in Grand Theft Auto: London 1961.
Design[]
The Bentover is based on the Bentley S1 Continental or S2 Continental coupe sedan. The car is distinguished in-game by its long length (comparable to the Royal Stretch in Grand Theft Auto: London 1969, but still shorter) and a consistently blue body colour.
Performance[]
Due to its function as a luxury sedan rather than a high-performance vehicle, the Bentover possesses very poor top speed, virtually as slow as or slower than many low-end vehicles in the game, but above average acceleration and vehicle value, and average braking, grip and durability.
Trivia[]
- The Bentover assumes the car ID of GTA London 1969's Royal Stretch (#43).[1]
- The name "Bentover" is a crude reference to the bent over position in sexual intercourse.
- Less crudely, it is also a play on "Bentley", the vehicle's real life counterpart manufacturer.
- While revealed in game files to possess a base export value of £1,100 in mint condition, the Bentover, like the Royal Stretch, cannot be exported due to its size.
