Bent Cop Blues - Phone 13 is a mission in Grand Theft Auto available during Vice City Chapter 1: Bent Cop Blues, given to the protagonist by Samuel Deever. The mission is available from the phone in west Banana Grove in Vice City.

Description

The mission begins with Deever telling the protagonist that Dell from Internal Affairs is on his way to the station and must be stopped. He will be driving a brown Regal and by the time the protagonist catches up to him, he will be in northwest Greek Heights. After killing Dell, Deever then tells the protagonist to go and pick up a Limousine from south Banana Grove and then pick him up from the courthouse in southeast Coral City as he needs to get out of town for a while. After picking Deever up, however, the ATF will appear and start shooting, so the protagonist must quickly take Deever back to his house in south Banana Grove to complete the mission.

Reward

The player is awarded 40,000 points and a +1 score multiplier for completing the mission.

Samuel Deever: Dell from Internal Affairs is on his way to the station today. Stop him! The protagonist locates Dell. Dell: Hey! Get away from me you crazy asshole. The protagonist kills Dell. Samuel Deever: You took your own sweet goddamn time. If he had testified against me, you'd be dead! There's a limo in Banana Grove. Pick it up - and I want it immaculate, asshole! The protagonist gets Samuel Deever's Limousine on his house in South Banana Grove. Samuel Deever: Pick me up at the courthouse. I'm getting outta town until the heat's off. The protagonist drives to the courthouse in Southeast Coral City. Samuel Deever: Shit! It's the goddamn ATF. Get us out of here asshole - NOW! The protagonist escapes the ATF agents and drives Samuel Deever back to his house. Samuel Deever: You were goddamn lucky you stupid punk. I could've been killed. If I die, so do you!
