The Battle Axe combines the appearance of a Bearded Axe with a spiked hammer on the opposite side of the blade (making it an Axe-Hammer), while the size is probably derived from the Tomahawk. As suggested by the in-game description, it appears to be of the Medieval era.

The Battle Axe is not vastly different from its similar counterpart, the Hatchet, as it has the same damage, speed and range. The player can kill enemies quickly or execute them when using stealth mode.
Like the Hatchet, the weapon can also be used while riding motorcycles.
