Banning is a small industrial area in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online, located in the Port of Los Santos, south of Davis, Rancho, and La Puerta, and east of Los Santos International Airport.
Character[]
While other industrial areas of the city have fallen victim to gentrification, Banning still stands as a productive workhouse. It is located on the shore of the Pacific Ocean, and overlooks the Port of Los Santos. Due to its close proximity to the port, Banning is used to store cargo and other supplies in its warehouses after they are shipped to the harbor. Banning is connected to Elysian Island through a single train bridge.
Banning is entirely dedicated to industry. There is a small pipeline that runs throughout the area. This pipeline is derived from the oil storage tanks owned by The Los Santos State Gas Company, located in East Los Santos.
Events of Grand Theft Auto V[]
Trevor Philips was assigned by the Federal Investigation Bureau to interrogate Ferdinand Kerimov, aka Mr. K. He tied up Mr. K in a warehouse in Banning and used many different torture techniques to gain information out of him. After Trevor receives the info he needed, he decides to drive Mr. K over to the airport to drop him off.
